Jesolon:Flood and typhoon can be related to unusual lunar activities also solar activities. If the sun is little bit far away it will cause colder season. If the moon is full it will attract water towards its direction.We all have one mother the mother nature and her wrath is fearsome!Anyway the human arsenal is tested during times of calamity ,  the lost of so many properties can be replaced by utilizing resources  from different generous nations.And lost of thousands of lives is not an indication that man are now discouraged , since many are being born.
